ITH (the Interdimentional Transport Hub) is another comic my sister and I are working on. Think of it as Kingdom Hearts but with stronger rules. It is a universe (pardon, multiverse) where various fandoms (or the idea of them) could potentially interact.

For example, there is a concept in fiction that a certain "space" exists that can be shaped (and in fact controlled) by a consciousness with a strong will. I call this Darkspace.

We see examples of Darkspace in anime quite a bit (i.e. Yu-Gi-Oh, Slayers, Vampire Princess Miyu, Kingdom Hearts) but we can also find in in classic fiction such as Peter Pan. Those who have read the book know that Peter can shape the island into whatever he wishes. In the same vein, Yugi (from Yu-Gi-Oh!) can recreate and manipulate the space inside the Millennium puzzle. Since this unique supernatural concept exists in both worlds, I concluded that they could potentially be connected in a higher dimension. (This is a non-scientific, pot-smoking, crack version of M theory.)

So we have potentially linked two disconnected dimensions. Connections can also be made via timelines. Since the events in Peter Pan affected no one but the characters directly involved, we could say that Jack the Ripper could potentially exist in that timeline. Therefore we can connect them.

The third way to make a connection is through characters. The characters in Star Trek TOS met an expression of Jack the Ripper and so they can be potentially connected back to Peter Pan. (Star Trek Next Generation characters met the X-Men too!) Peter Pan can be connected to Sora, though Kingdom Hearts. Sora met Jack Sparrow so we can now connect Pirates of the Caribbean as well. (Jack the Ripper can be connect to Sherlock Holmes and from Sherlock Holmes to Arsène Lupin, from Arsene Lupin to Lupin 3rd, Lupin the 3rd to Detective Conan. Once you get started it's very easy to continue.)

(BTW, if you wish to contribute to these worlds feel free to send me your connections with explainations.)

In this way, I have created a massive list of interactions which are the basis for the comic. Unfortunately, since the entire idea of ITH is linked with other people's intellectual property we have to find ways of expression ideas without referencing other people's work directly.

Therefore ITH, the comic, is about how the characters who work at the hub (named ITH) explain phenomena (i.e. déjà vu, ghosts, magic, etc.) so that it can be remain more or less consistent across multiple dimensions (a.k.a. fandoms.)

At any rate, until the comic comes along (which will probably be after the Raccoon Thief) this section will be dedicated to my essays, theories and random thoughts. I will also include a encyclopedia of various terms we use to define ITH.
